Assalamu Alaykum . Thank you very much Dr. Maryam for the valuable lecture today. The🙏 field of music therapy in medicine is a very sensitive and important topic for us as trainees, especially with regard to cancer patients. 🙏I had a small experience in 2024 in the cancer unit at the Bashir Hamza University Hospital for Children in Tunis within the framework of the associative work of the institute I manage conservatoire ClassicArt. Truth is a unique and far-reaching experience of what we offer to autistic children or those withLearning difficulties. They were not therapeutic protocols ( because I did not have the mechanisms at the time☺️) as much as a humanitarian initiative with noble goals. The truth had a special taste and feeling.🥰 A feeling of satisfaction and pleasure was❤️ not easy at first. I was in pain because I was not used to seeing children without hair or eyebrows filling their bodies with respirators and injecting serums and solutions... But with the beginning of playing, I see eyes shining and voices participating in singing and walking in a beautiful world and challenging the pain even for a moment... I say praise to myself...I have succeeded in bringing even a little joy to these small hearts despite the suffering... 🙏 so I wanted to share with you this passage from my visit.... A girl who wished to learn to play the piano and another who wanted to sing and chose the song l 'oiseau et l'enfant ❤️

Thank you very much for sharing this profound and very moving human experience with us. What you have done in a hospital reflects the highest meanings of humanity and fine art. Music therapy does not always require complex protocols, but often needs a sincere heart and a pure sensation like yours. 😍❤️
